Suede Cleaning Advice:
· Use Leder-Bök – a specially formulated boot care for suede/fabric/nubuck boots
· Colour – clear (but it may darken the suede or nubuck)
· Follow instructions given on back of spray bottle
Nubuck/suede does not have to be completely dry before applying Leder- Bök. Leder- Bök has been developed so that it may be applied to damp boots
If nubuck/suede is constantly going through a cycle of wet and dry, or if there are signs of ‘ hardening’, apply a good coating of Leder- Bök, especially in the areas where the boot flexes – then cover with a damp cloth until the Leder- Bök soaks in.
TIP 1 - In a hot climate, you must slow down the rate at which the boot dries out – this can be done by putting a damp cloth over the boots once you have taken them off
TIP 2 - Leder- Bök will help keep suede or nubuck supple, it acts to restore oils in the suede, so use it regularly, especially in areas where the boot is flexing
TIP 3 - In a hot climate, cover the boots with a damp cloth after applying Leder- Bök – this will allow more time for it to soak into the suede/nubuck
