For police officers the Alt-berg P1 Peacekeeper is probably to most appropriate boot for general police patrol duties and is certified to BS EN 20347.  Alt-Berg Rhino sole is shock absorbing full deep rubber surround and hiking boot tread, tested for slip resistance and oil & acid resistance to BSEN 20347:2012

It is Alt-berg's best selling police lightweight flexible boot. The ankle cuff was redesigned in 2004 to give better flex control & movement. The boot is anti-static and has a non slip sole.  Most boots are now fitted with the Rhino sole. 

The P1 Original is NON steel toe cap. NON steel mid sole boot. The Alt-berg P3 and P4 are the protected steel toecap safety version used for MAST duties.  Most forces are not happy with officers wearing steel toecap boots for standard patrol work, the P1 Original is ideal for general duties and patrol.

The P1 Peacekeeper have been tested to BSEN 347, suitable for a wide range of military, police, rural and urban duties.
