Altberg Boot Fitting Advice.

Online Boot Fitting Advice

We successfully supply many boots online. Once you know your size in Altberg boots, the size is pretty consistent across the range.  If you are looking at Sneekers or Tabbing boots, the sneekers tend to be slightly narrower at the front of the foot, the tabbing are tighter at the heel reducing heel slip (and blisters) and there is a bit more room across the front of the foot.  People with narrow feet often prefer the Sneeker to the Tabbing boot.

There will always be an element of uncertainty about sizing but we have found the following advice works for over 90% of online customers.

Medium to Wide feet - go up ½ size on your SHOE size, you will normally be wearing thicker socks with boots than you do with shoes.

Narrow feet - stick with your normal SHOE size.

If you have a history of boot or shoe fitting problems its best not to order online. It would be a good idea to visit the Altberg factory for a fitting assessment. Contact the Alt-Berg factory in advance - you may need an appointment.

Boots must be returned in absolute brand new condition ready to go back into stock. If boots are not in absolute brand new condition complete with unmarked and undamaged packaging & labels etc. then credit/exchange/refund will not be possible. NOTE: this doesn't just mean not wearing them outside… if the boots are worn too long inside then they will show signs of leather creasing and wear.

We do not refund postage on boots returned for fit or suitability reasons and the customer is responsible for the return costs of the boots to us for exchange, credit or refund.

We will not normally charge UK customers to send out a first exchange pair of boots, but we reserve the right to charge additional return postage for additional exchange boots sent back out to the customer (where return is for fit or suitability).
