DESCRIPTION

Developed in 2020, the K9 (BS EN 20347:2012) is the next generation of Altberg's dog handlers Field & Fell boots but made on the asymetric last (or A Forme) to give a  slightly wider forefoot, spring at the toe and narrower heel and waist

It is lightweight with increased comfort around ankle and heel and increased mobility for running and high activity.

The waterproof lining is 4 layer military grade Sympatex® to give increased protection in more severe weather and ground conditions.

The tough Rhino sole has a deep rand and deep cleated tread for use on rough rural terrain.

Upper    2.2 - 2.4mm Anfibio water repellent, breathable full grain leather
Lining    Sympatex® breathable 4 layer lining with military grade waterproof membrane interlayer
Midsole    Individually graded polypropylene, TRI Flex, graded to each individual size. Optimum foot support and torsional resistance, will not degrade over time
Sole    Altberg Rhino – shock absorbing full deep rubber surround and hiking boot tread, tested for slip resistance (SRC) and oil & acid resistance

Most stock has lace hooks for the top three sets of lace loops, some stock is 'SF' version which has no hooks, all lace loops are enclosed rings.
